Homeless Assistance Recovery Program (HARP Voucher)

The Michigan State Housing Development Authoirty (MSHDA) provides rental subsidy for homeless households through the Homeless Assistance Recovery Program (HARP). HARP also provides participants with supportive services through the local Continuum of Care service provider network. To be eligible, participants must meet Section 8 income criteria, be homeless, and be connected to a service provider for at least 28 days. The service provider will help applicants to complete paperwork and program requirements, obtain security deposits, and find and maintain rental housing.
